The sporty dressage
Objective also is here the let go horse who can gather his paces according to education state at most or strengthen at most.
Volume I and II is ridden in agreed lessons by the directives for horse riding and driving. The education is directed after the
education scale:
Tact - loose calmness - support - swing - straight direction - "Versammlung"
To the gymnastics of the horse the loose calmness of the horse has the uppermost priority, she also influences substantially
the correct tact of the paces. The support is steady and follows the rider's hand in accepting and drawback. The aim is that
the support is searched by the horse and is not forced from the hand. And here is the point, while most misunderstandings lie.
If a horse is correctly ridden, it will never lie down on the rein, the rider does not feel in tons weight in his hands.
In the everyday experience with the education of rider and horse we find out over and over again that quick forcing of results
leads with both (person and horse) to coarseness and opposition. Thus the rider looks, e.g., always first after support before
the horse Is unleashed generally. This is explained partly in the fact that we lack basically time. As in every sport according
to competition we need quick results.
This may still function with the person alone, however, a fine teamwork of two living beings will always need his time. If a
rider really gives himself the time to let train correctly and his horse just as much time to the understanding of the aid
leaves, the education after the education scale is the measure of the things. Here, nevertheless, the difference appears between
sport and art.
The art takes the time which needs it and remains, nevertheless, strictly in the education sighting.
